The course focuses on the core fundamentals of economics, its theories and applications. Program has been structured in a manner which covers both qualitative and quantitative courses in economics like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics, Indian and Global economy etc. BA Economics (Hons.) program helps students develop skill and gain knowledge required for assessment of health of the national economy, markets, finance, banking, international trade and so on and so forth. The course is recently gaining popularity these days because of its widespread applicability in rural studies, GDP, economic development theories and analytics.
Eligibility Criteria
Successful completion of Class XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. Students expecting their results by July can apply for provisional admission. They will be given provisional admissions based on their Class X performance.
