In respect of the detailed admission procedures, it has generally been understood that most engineering institutes take all-India or state-level entrance examinations and add these to the 10+2, or equivalent, academic performance records. In few cases, personal interviews may also be included in the process. Degree wise Admission Process

B. Tech Programs:

The Triguna Sen School of Technology has provisions for side four full-time four-year degree programs for B. Tech. Four of them are:

1. B Tech in Agricultural Engineering (60 seats)
2. B. Tech in Information Technology (60 seats)
3. B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
4. B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The total intake for B.Tech courses comes to 120, whereby 60 seats are allotted each for Agricultural Engineering and Information Technology. The admission for these programs will be made according to the result of a national or state engineering entrance examination, such as JEE Mains or a state-level engineering entrance test.

The institute has sanctioned an intake of 60 students each for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech in Information Technology; the intake figures for Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering have not been mentioned, but these are also programs offered by the institute.
