TRR College of Engineering and Technology which was started in 2008 is an innovative college established at Patancheru, Telangana. Spread over a campus that spans 123 acres this AICTE approved institute of engineering has been preparing the young minds of students for over more than a decade. Jayaram and Natarajan found that, TRR College takes a total of 349 students in single academic year and faculties strength is 182 for providing various engineering disciplines at undergraduate and post graduate levels. Currently the institute offers 11 courses under 3 degree programmes that fully reflect the institute’s AICTE, NBA & NAAC affordability and quality education with specialisation in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering & Mechanical Engineering.

With 60 nodes of the latest hardware and software there is a connected computer lab to support new means of online teaching. We also have well-endowed electronics labs which provides plenty of opportunity for experimenting, as well as advanced research. Reference titles, journals and magazines catering to the needs of the scholarly readers are available in the air-conditioned library. The institute also focuses on the health issues of their students and provide them sports facilities including gym to stay healthy. Furthermore, hosting facilities for boy and girls help outstation students live comfortably in hostels.

Thus, TRR College of Engineering and Technology has over seventy two ranges of engineering courses to suit the various interests of the students. The institute offers its students 11 full time programmes which are divided into undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At undergraduate level, the most sought courses offered are B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with an intake of 180 students, B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering 120 students, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering takes 60 students. For those pupils who would wish to deepen their studies, the college provides masters in technology commonly known as M.Tech like; Computer Science and Engineering, Electric Power System, among others. As to the approved intake in all courses offered by the institute it is 349 students while the institute determines the balance between the number of students and teachers in order to ensure effective results achieved during the learning process.

The process of admissions in TRR College of Engineering and Technology is structured fairly and effectively. For postgraduate programmes such as M.Tech., an applicant has to have passed the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) .
