This helps improve students' physical fitness along with the need to cultivate the team spirit for all-round development of personality of the students. Contrasted with this, the D.El.Ed. course is a two-year period with an intake of 50 seats, which specializes the students in the very noble profession of elementary education. The curriculum for both the courses has the objective of equipping the students with thorough theoretical knowledge regarding the whole subject as well as practical teaching skills as based on the latest educational methodology and practices.
The admission procedures to Tulsi College of Education for Women shall strictly be merit-based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and, in some cases, entrance examinations. Admission to B.Ed. programme shall be strictly as per the policy laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration and concerned university. Admission/selection shall be made through entrance examination or such method/criteria as are deemed appropriate by competent authority. The same shall apply to D.El.Ed. where admission is strictly merit-based, taking into consideration the marks in the Qualifying Examination and/or an entrance test, as the policy of the State Govt./UT Administration might consider.
