Tura Polytechnic, Tura Admission Process
The admissions process at Tura Polytechnic usually begins much earlier than the academic year. Accordingly, the admission process is likely to include some emphasis on the candidate's performance in relevant subjects during his/her 10+2 studies and possibly an entrance test and/or interview.
Diploma in Food Processing and Preservation: This is a program that has an intake of 30 students and is linked to the emerging food industry. Candidates desirous of pursuing the course might have earlier qualifications with science subjects mainly in biology and chemistry.
Testing Electronics: This technical program is of 30 seats, and most likely, admission would take preference to the candidate's qualification in physics and mathematics.
For all these diploma courses, unified fee structure would indicate that the candidate would pay Rupees 12,246 for all these courses; this leaves for a unified admission process across courses, where the candidates will have to comply with general eligibility criteria and would have to go through a joint selection process based on their course of admission.
