Udaan School of Photography, Mumbai is a specialised school which aims at training the new generation photographers and directors. Being situated in the centre of the metropolitan city of Mumbai at Lower Parel, this institution provides different diploma courses for the photography field. Currently, the school is equipped with a faculty of 10 professional persons to equip the students with more real life practices.

Udaan School of Photography has very good IT facilities to avail latest technology as important part of digital photography to the students. It has a rich literature collection and indeed one of the few sources of Photographic literature and references. It also keeps specialised laboratories, perhaps, darkrooms and digital editing rooms in case students are to have a practical touch of what they learn. Full-time courses are Diploma in Photojournalism, Diploma in Commercial Photography, Diploma in Commercial Photography and Film Making, Diploma in Commercial Photography Evening School. The theoretical programmes take between one and two years to complete, and offer various specialisations in the profession.
