University College of Engineering , Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry, was established in the year 2006. It is a prestigious constituent college located in Raja Raja Narendra nagar, Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh. Located over a campus area of 96.27 acres, this co-educational institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The total number of students enroled in the college is 591 and college has 29 members in faculty staff offering 6 courses in two degree programmes. Offering number of engineering disciplines as its field of specialisation the institute offers a technical education to the prospective engineers. 

The college provides its academic programmes with a range of contemporary amenities. An inventory of the tools and equipment in a library is crucial in creating a knowledge resources centre for students as well as the faculty. Sophisticated modern laboratories are assigned to each department and practical experience is indispensable in engineering studies. University College of Engineering also have a varied list of full time programmes wherein one can get a B.Tech in five different disciplines and MCA. These B.Tech programmes are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil engineering with intake of 30 students each. The MCA programme is designed to host appropriately 45 students. It is always a priority to make sure that all the courses being offered offer a meaningful understanding of their specific discipline, and have the requirements of the current job market. 

University College of Engineering has an elaborate system of selecting the most appropriate person to join that institution. For the MCA programme, the college accepts the scores of the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test, APICET, which is for admission into MCA and MBA courses in the state. This exam is particularly important as a filter through which qualification can be proven and the right to become a member of this programme earned by aspiring students. Often the engineering colleges use the results of state of national exams accompanied by the 10+2 or equivalent performance.
