University College of Nursing, Faridkot popularly known as UCON was stepped in the year 2001 and located in the pink city of Punjab-India.The institution has completed the long eighteen years of its establishment and catering the need of nursing and health care sector by churning out the number of professional nurses every year. It functions as a constituent college of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. With a 4 acre campus, UCON has been niched in nursing education. This college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), so the training is held at a high level. Currently, UCON has 384 students enroled in its programme with a faculty of 30 dedicated members and aims at providing various nursing specialties. The postgraduate programmes are offered in numerous areas, these are M.Sc in medical surgical nursing, paediatric nursing, obstetrics and gynaecology nursing, community health nursing, psychiatric nursing and M.Sc nurse practitioner in critical care.
