The University of Mumbai Law Academy, Mumbai also known as UMLA Mumbai was established in 2015. UMLA Mumbai courses are offered in a total of 2 programmes in the disciplines of Law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the BBA LLB Hons degree course and PGD diploma course. The University of Mumbai Law Academy is a constituent college of the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
For UMLA Mumbai admissions to the said undergraduate course, the institute accepts a valid score card of the MHCET Law MAH-LLB entrance examination, followed by a round of MHT CET counselling, and for postgraduate courses, a valid degree of the previous qualifying exam is required. The UMLA Mumbai college has also been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). UMLA campus size is about 6 acres and the UMLA infrastructure consists of its academic blocks, administrative buildings, laboratories, library, moot courts, and more available on the UMLA campus.
