University Polytechnic, AMU was established in 1937 as a constituent college of AMU; it is one of the leading institutions of the country. This co-educational institution of technical learning is located in Aligarh Uttar Pradesh and currently is in its operation for more than eight decades. The offered programmes of the polytechnic are recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which guarantees the quality of a given course and its relevance to the labour market. The Diploma in Civil Engineering is offered with 90 seats, while Diploma in Computer Engineering comes next with an offer of 30 seats.
