Hii, This side Garvit from ZHCET, AMU I am pursuing my bachelor of technology degree from ZHCET, AMU currently. Academics and faculty of engineering department is very good. And also it obtained ranked 1 in terms of best college value for money by Times of India recently College infrastructure is 10 out of 10 Placement I suggest it depends on you. You also do preperation for government exams also college give you all the facilities inside the campus And also having a huge campus around 1200 acres approx Overall it is 4 out 5
Academics and faculty is very good Faculty is highly educational from well known institute and also from foreign institute Also having a huge interest in research and appreciate highly of you work in research field.
Placement is not much much good But I can say that it is decent in terms of what you give as a fees and what you get from collegeso placement depend on student to students If you do good in academics then it is good for you.
College has a very good infrastructure having well-equipped labs, the state of the art laboratories, beautiful campus of the institution and its accredited B. Tech programme by Department of Electrical Engineering.
Currently I'm perusing B. Tech in electrical engineering as I have keen interest in the same field. Studying B Tech in electrical engineering allows me to interact with a vibrant community of people who share my passion for the field. Their student engagement programme is helping me to be better prepared for my endeavors.
The placement of Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology has not been upto the par lately. However, there are several bodies working and struggling to overcome this problem. I hope the University will take appropriate action to inhance its reputation and will meet the required level of standard.
I had to pay 21,585 in INR at the time of admission for the first year and the college provides a lot of facilities like library, book bank which provides book on rent at the cost of 15% of the original price of the book. Overall I am getting more than my money's worth.
The campus is so vast and beautiful having enough space for every department, safe drinking water, ragging free and negligibly polluted. But University administrative security is literally poor. Indulging in University politics will put your life in danger. The security personnel are not doing their job properly because when it matters the most they are nowhere to be found, they show their power in silly things just to scare student without any genuine reason.
Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh has a good information. They provide us with good facilities and at my time WiFi was not available for all but ya there was good library.
Most of the teachers are graduates from IITs and NITs. Teaching skills are good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, students make industry-ready in the college. The semester is difficult because the paper is lengthy.
In my college, the culture is set in a way that most of the students desire to pursue higher education. 80% of students got placed. It is wrong to say that my college has the best placement, but it can be definitely said that after getting education from the college, one can excel in their career in a very impactful way.
Excellent infrastructure is found in colleges. The provided facilities and equipment are of high quality. Although the classrooms are large, the cleaning is poor. Libraries are very good and have a lot of books. The sports facilities in particular are excellent.
I am interested in technology and learning how to create websites, apps, and software, so I am studying for a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. I believe the quality of education The curriculum is not overly updated and it is not bad.
My seniors and other people have informed me that the placements are not very good for on-campus living. The percentage of students placed is around 70–80%. I don't know more about this because I am a first-year student.
I definitely agree with the value for money Because one-year fees for B.Tech. are just Rs. 20,000, except for some lower-branch With this money, I got worth it because it is a minimal amount for any reputed college.
Classes are clean and well maintained with advanced labs. The labs have latest technology and good infrastructure. The lab assistants and teachers are well qualified and supportive. Good comfortable seats and air-conditioned classes are available. Food hygiene is a concern though.
The academic structure is followed strictly and with constant evaluation of students. The curriculum is gradually updated, and recent developments have been seen in the quality of subjects. There is no bias among students and evaluation is fair.
The Placements are average but with prominent companies. Around 35% students get placed from a particular branch of engineering. I personally got placed in L&T with a few more of my friends (around 10-15 students) of my branch.
The students who are financially weak but have big dreams and talent are supported by the fee structure of this university. The facilities and teachings provided to the students are much greater than the fee.
Campus is on another level. There are numerous educational and historical places that you can visit. There are parks, playgrounds, gym. The hostels are very comfortable and convenient. The only problem with them is sometimes cleanliness electricity becomes an issue.
The overall experience was mesmerizing, and the professors were really supportive. The best aspect of Aligarh Muslim University is the culture and way of living it teaches to the students which becomes a lifelong lesson for the students.
Infrastructure is good. Smart big classrooms, well equipped labs. Infrastructureis vvery good of this college. It is vast, green.. There is big parking space in the beginning. separate grounds for sports. There is auditorium for cultural events
Academics are also good with continuous assessments and projects throughout the year. There are continuous exams throughout the year which keeps students engaged in studies. There is separate space for extra curricular activities
Placements are very poor. No big company come here. College offers impressive placement support, connecting students with diverse opportunities; job readiness is a strong suit. Since Aligarh is a remote place, no big company come here
Overall course is too expensive as per it's quality
Campus life is very peaceful
overall college is good. one should take admission here
ZHCET truly boasts outstanding infrastructure. the classrooms are equipped with modern facilities. laboratories are well maintained providing students with access to the latest equipment. the library is comprehensive supporting academic endeavour with a vast collection. hostel living spaces are clean and the food is not only hygienic but also offers variety to cater to diverse preferences.
studying B.tech in electrical engineering the quality of teaching at this institution is commendable. the curriculum is updated regularly, incorporating recent developments. the emphasis on practical knowledge alongside theoretical understanding contribute significantly to out overall learning experience.
while the quality of placement is satisfactory, the percentage of students placed could be improved. the highest salary is competitive, but the average salary offered might need a boost. the placement process was relatively smooth, and the college support a played crucial role. however, there is room for enhancement in terms of diversifying placement opportunities.
Considering the cost associated with the b, tech program, the value for money proposition is outstanding. the quality education od education infrastructure in education here proves worthwhile. aligning with the adage that education is an investment in the future.
The college infrastructure is average considering it was built a long time ago. It has a main building and rest few new buildings. The mechanical department is the oldest one and is the one with most facilities .
The academics is not very good here. The teachers focus more on quantity rather than quality . Getting marks is tough here , You need to write exactly the way teachers taught , to get marks in the exams
The placement here are also average , it is due to the fact that you need to work really hard to get good placements. if you think you can come here and spend four years happily and expect to get a good placement , dont come here.
On top of everything , this is a college for people who cant afford a expensive one . A value for money college, the fees is very low, you get lots of scholarships , and many free facilities. The hostel accomodation is good
The campus life is good , yes there are not much fests with loud music , but its good. The college location is good , roads are college , there are lots of places to sit and enjoy in peace
Many people know that this college is not as good as lots of other governement colleges , for you know it is a part of the prestigious AMU and you have to be atleast once in your life be a part of AMU
Specialized laboratories with All necessary equipments are available. Modern classrooms equipped with audio visual aids.campus wide wifi connectivity ensure that student have access to internet for their academic and research purposes.
I m pursuing my Bachelors in Technology In Electronics and Communication Engineering. quality of teaching is appreciable. yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
From my bnoundaries of knowledge and from the people i reached out to p lacements from here was always been nice.the highest package was grabbed by a computer engineering student last year only of about 1 cr.
19K - 20K
CAMPUS LIFE IS UNFORGETTABLE.
NO
This college provide all facility in very low fees structure.infrastructure is very good .there is also smart classes ,free wifi, AC rooms . Every thing is properly maintained. Dinning facility is provided by the University is not expensive .living rooms and hostel are cleaned every day
Quality of teaching is average because there are some teacher , who are not properly trained.I have done my btech in mechanical engineering but no progress. I think there should be change in curriculum and syllabus that are required now a days.
Placement of my college is not good ,it is average . About 50% students are placed including all IT and Non IT sector.in my branch average sallary offered is about 4 lakhs per year that is very low. Placement process is not easy.placement cell of our college is not so active.
Fees of my course is not so much . It is affordable. And time to time scholarship is also provided to the meritorious and needy students.
Campus Life is very good , fresh and clean environment
Hi Satyam!
Both HBTU, Kanpur and ZHCET, Aligarh, are equally good! The infrastructure of both includes huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, Wi-Fi enabled campus, gym, but HBTU has music and dance rooms in addition!
The placement in HBTU is quite good when compared to that of ZHCET. The Median Salary in the former is Rs. 6.4 lakhs/year and the Highest Salary is Rs. 60 lakhs/year. The Median Salary in the latter is Rs. 3.2 lakhs/year and the Highest Salary is Rs. 10.2 lakhs/year!
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
