USAR, GGSIPU: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

Situated in the capital territory, the University School of Automation and Robotics is a relatively new school. It has an Institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and fights really hard to offer entrance opportunities to engineering graduates in various domains. The aim of the institution is to provide new dimensions to Automation and Robotics by encouraging innovations, and thus invites bright minds capable of program implementation to its own B-Tech programs. Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 for B.Tech programs. The precise criteria should depend on JEE Main and its rank obtained by students, from which the eligibility criteria are to be dissected, and on many seats remaining vacant. We should make a note that based on course enumerations, candidates having impairment of vision (ms color vision), hearing impairment, or in the inability of verbal communication are inadmissible into these programs.

Application Process

The whole procedure to apply for admission in USAR B.Tech programs is:

1. JEE Main Registration and Examination:

• Register for JEE Main on the official NTA website.
• JEE Main Paper 1 would be held as per the schedule announced by NTA, and the candidate is to appear for it.
• Obtain JEE Main score and All India Rank.

2. IPU CET Registration (if applicable): If applicable, register for the IPU CET on the official GGSIPU website and appear for the IPU CET as per the schedule.

3. USAR Application: Check the official website of USAR or GGSIPU for the admission advertisement. Fill up the online application form for the USAR programs.

• Uploading of documents: This may include:
• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• JEE Main score card
• IPU CET score card (if applicable)
• Category certificates (if applicable)
• Recent passport size photograph
• Scanned signature

4. Application Fee Payment: Application fees should be paid in a prescribed manner (online payment gateway, demand draft, etc.).

5. Admission Procedure: The merit list will be prepared by USAR on the basis of JEE Main ranks and IPU CET scores (if applicable). Call for document validation and seat allotment will be sent to shortlisted candidates.

6. Document Verification and Admission Confirmation: This means showing up at the USAR on the scheduled date for document verification, obtaining admission confirmation dues, and reserves.

7. Orientation and Commencement of Classes:

• Attend the orientation program.
• Commence classes as per the academic calendar.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech Programs: USAR runs four specialized B.Tech programs, with 120 students each as an intake, adding up to an entire of 480 seats across all programs.

1. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
2. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
3. B.Tech in Automation and Robotics
4. B.Tech in Industrial Internet of Things

The admission process for all B.Tech programs is the same:

• The candidates shall appear for the JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by NTA.
• The admissions for all the above courses are on the basis of merit/ rank obtained only in JEE Main.
• No separate entrance test is conducted by USAR.
• Scores for admissions in IPU CET are also considered.

Integrated B.Tech and M.Tech Programs:
USAR also offers integrated 5-year B.Tech and M.Tech programs in the following specializations:

1. B.Tech and M.Tech in Industrial Internet of Things
2. B.Tech and M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
3. B.Tech and M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
4. B.Tech and M.Tech in Automation and Robotics

Each of these integrated programs has an approved intake of 120 students. The admission process for these programs is likely similar to the B.Tech programs, but candidates should verify the specific requirements from the official USAR website or admission office.
