Unnati Management College and Technology, Mathura: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Unnati Management College and Technology is an affiliated college instituted in the year 2014. This co-educational institution is located at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, and approved by AICTE. The UMCT is spread over 1.5 acres, offering three diploma programs in Engineering fields. Its sanctioned student enrolment is a total of 875, while the faculty strength is 38 members. UMCT is committed to providing high-quality engineering education to students to be ably employed in the field of expertise. 

The college has several facilities needed to facilitate the students' acquisition of knowledge and skills. The library has about 5 000 volumes of books and subscribes to about 125 journals—both national and international. It is also automated with the use of Libsys and interconnected with DELNET. UMCT has separate hostels for boys and girls with air-cooled rooms and other basic facilities. The campus is also provided with all kinds of contemporary facilities with a spacious cafeteria, a very modern auditorium with a capacity to seat 1,000 audiences, and sports facilities.

UMCT runs three full-time diploma courses in Engineering: three-year duration. These are Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Production Engineering, and Diploma in Civil Engineering. The approved total intake for these courses is 300 seats, out of which 60 will be for Electrical Engineering and 120 each for Production and Civil Engineering. Full-time mode is the only available mode of study for all courses, where the students are fed with the widest theoretical knowledge and practical skill in their respective fields.

The admission at UMCT focuses largely on the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic), JEECUP. This entrance examination is a significant step for the diploma courses students wish to get into at this college. Seats shall be allotted on the basis of JEECUP counseling in accordance with the allotment rules prescribed by the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.
