Uttar Kampith Mahavidyalaya, Jagara, was established in 1983 at Belsor of Nalbari in Assam. The affiliated college has been established on a compact 8.47-acre campus and has served the cause of education in the backward regions of the countryside for almost four decades since its inception. 18 courses in 3 degree programs are offered with an emphasis on the streams of Arts and Vocational Studies at this institution. A total number of 1,388 students and a faculty strength of 33 only make the learning environment very conducive, with a highly favorable student-teacher ratio in Uttar Kampith Mahavidyalaya.
