Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute, Dehradun was established in 2006 to provide education in the field of Dental Sciences and foster academic research. The college is also called UDMRI Dehradun. UDMRI Dehradun offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The courses are BDS and MDS with different fee structures and eligibility criteria. 

Admission into BDS is given based on NEET examination scores whereas admission into MDS is given based on NEET-MDS scores. UDMRI Dehradun has an annual intake of 100 students for the BDS programme. The current year’s cutoff is to be met by the students to participate in the counselling process after qualifying for the examination. The institute offers multiple facilities on campus. UDMRI Dehradun facilitates separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, sports, gym, cafeteria and many more that can be availed by the students.

Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute Dehradun is a private college and is affiliated with Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Pauri Garhwal. UDMRI Dehradun is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
