36 MonthsPh.D. program in Management shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution offered by Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.

Eligibility Criteria
A 2-year/4-semester master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned or allied subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
Or
A 1-year/2-semester master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned or allied subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree Program.
Or
4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the concerned or allied subject with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale.
or
M.Phil. degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled.
Admission Details
Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or GATE with fellowship only are exempted from the entrance exam UUEE. Such candidates will have to appear in an interview only.
