The Uttaranchal Institute of Management under the Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, to impart various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in commerce and management. The UIM offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as BBA, B.Com (Hons), MBA, and Ph.D. in Management on a merit basis. BBA and B.Com (Hons):

Admissions Procedure by Degree

For B.Com Hons: Admission here is preserved on a merit basis computed from the marks in the qualifying examination (10+2). The university then conducts interviews with all applicants before finalizing admissions.

For BBA: UIM has lots of specializations for BBA-for Human Resource Management, Digital Marketing, Tourism and Event Management, and Banking and Finance. Admission to all these specializations is also mostly on merit, which partly takes into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and the interview phase.

For MBA: The programs offered cover areas including Information Technology, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, and Executive MBA. Admission will be based on scores/ranks obtained in national-level entrance tests, namely MAT, CAT, CMAT, or XAT and the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination.

Ph.D. Management: Candidates qualifying through UGC-NET or CSIR-NET or having done GIATE (fellowship) will be exempted from UUEE and will need to take only an interview. All other candidates will have to qualify through an entrance exam and then by an interview before being considered.
