On March 11, 2024, the Department of Civil Engineering at Uttaranchal University (UIT) arranged and led an educational industrial visit for students.

Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Dehradun also known as UIT Dehradun was established in the year 2006. The Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Dehradun is a constituent college of Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. The UIT Dehradun provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The UIT Dehradun UG Courses include a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and many more.

The UIT Dehradun PG Courses include M.Tech in Thermal Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. The duration of undergraduate programmes is four years whereas the duration of postgraduate programmes is two years.
