Vaani College of Education is one of the leading teacher education institutions in Tamilnadu situated at Indira Nagar, Chettiappanur Post, Vaniyambadi Vellore District was established in the year 2008. This college for co-education is an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE which assures quality education in the teacher education zone. Vaani College of Education is located in a small area of 3 acres which provides excellent and concentrated teaching learning environment for the future teachers. The college today offers its quality education to 169 students while employing 14 committed members of the faculty that assures sufficient student-coach ratio for individual engagement.

The college has taken pride in offering various amenities that can complement learning for the many students enrolled. These are important centres that are needed for the constructive and physical development of learners towards making molded students in sporting activities. An auditorium is a facility used for conferences, lectures, seminars and other functions, which educates people and brings them together. Vaani College of Education's library creatively serves the purpose of a student’s one stop centre for educational needs and an excellent place to study. For skill acquisition, the institution has department or programme-based laboratories, where students can practice what they learn in their respective areas of specialisation. In addition to this, the college takes pride in having attractive IT facilities to provide students with the information technology knowledge that is obligatory in the modern society.

At present, Vaani College of Education is only offering one primary course, which is the Bachelors in Education (B.Ed.). This unique course is a two-year full course that aims at producing competent teachers to meet the growing demand in the academe. The college has provisional capacity of 100 seats for the B.Ed programme which plays testimonial that the college is able to admit decent number of students aspiring to become teachers but at the same time it promises to offer quality education. This focused approach allows the institution to direct all the requisite resources and knowledge in offering quality teacher training programme.

Vaani College of Education operates based on merit, as directed by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university regarding admissions. Seats for these courses are filled depending on the marks achieved in the qualifying test as well as in the entrance test also.
