Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: B.Pharma admission is mostly through AP EAMCET exam. Admission in this course is 100 seats as approved by the college. The students who passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology are eligible to apply. They are selected based on the merit of the entrance exam or qualifying examination marks secured by them.
M.Pharma: Vagdevi College provides M.Pharma courses in various specializations such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control, and Pharmaceutical Technology. The candidates are chosen based on AP PGECET rank. Candidates who possess a B.Pharma degree can apply. The college may also perform further tests or interviews for selection.
D.Pharma: 60 seats in the D.Pharma course. Entry is on merit basis or through admission through GPAT and AU AIMEE entrance tests. Eligible only for those who have completed 10+2 in science stream subjects.
Pharm.D: Admission through the Pharm.D course is through an entrance exam. Eligible candidates who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are allowed to apply.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry: There is also a facility for lateral entry into the B.Pharma course offered in the college. This is for diploma holders or suitable candidates to join directly the second year of the B.Pharma course.
