Vagdevi College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, Brahmadevam, is a well-known centre with different courses in Pharmacy. It has a step-by-step admission process to obtain the ideal student for its wide array of courses. The admission process varies according to the program but contains a mix of entrance exam and merit.

For undergraduate courses such as B.Pharma, Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) marks are considered by the college. Specializations at postgraduate level are Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control, and Pharmaceutical Technology.

Application Process

Application processes for Vagdevi College of Pharmacy and Research Centre differ depending on the course:

For B.Pharma:

1. Take the AP EAMCET test.
2. Apply online on the official AP EAMCET counselling website.
3. Fill up the online application form and pay the fee.
4. Upload 10+2 mark sheets, AP EAMCET score card, etc., as indicated.
5. Go through the counselling process and select Vagdevi College of Pharmacy and Research Centre as the preferred institution.
6. If a seat is allocated, report to the college for document verification and admission formalities.

For M.Pharma:

1. Appear for the AP PGECET examination.
2. Registration on the official web portal of AP PGECET counselling.
3. Form filling and online payment.
4. Uploading of documents such as B.Pharma degree certificate, mark sheets, AP PGECET score card, etc., as and when required.
5. Counselling process and selection of your desired M.Pharma course in Vagdevi College.
6. In case of selection, get a call for further tests or interviews in the college.
7. Final admission subject to your overall performance and seat availability.

For D.Pharma:

1. Appear in the respective entrance examination (GPAT or AU AIMEE) if applying through the entrance examination mode.
2. For merit-based admissions, prepare with your academic documents and certificates.
3. Check the college website or contact the admission office for application form and procedure.
4. Post the filled application form with documents and application fee.
5. If shortlisted, you may be invited for the counselling process or document verification.

For Pharm.D:

1. Reporting for the entrance test as per college requirements.
2. Look on the college website for application form details and the last date.
3. Fill the application form and submit it along with documents and fee.
4. If shortlisted, attend the counselling process at college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: B.Pharma admission is mostly through AP EAMCET exam. Admission in this course is 100 seats as approved by the college. The students who passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology are eligible to apply. They are selected based on the merit of the entrance exam or qualifying examination marks secured by them.

M.Pharma: Vagdevi College provides M.Pharma courses in various specializations such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control, and Pharmaceutical Technology. The candidates are chosen based on AP PGECET rank. Candidates who possess a B.Pharma degree can apply. The college may also perform further tests or interviews for selection.

D.Pharma: 60 seats in the D.Pharma course. Entry is on merit basis or through admission through GPAT and AU AIMEE entrance tests. Eligible only for those who have completed 10+2 in science stream subjects.

Pharm.D: Admission through the Pharm.D course is through an entrance exam. Eligible candidates who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are allowed to apply.

B.Pharma Lateral Entry: There is also a facility for lateral entry into the B.Pharma course offered in the college. This is for diploma holders or suitable candidates to join directly the second year of the B.Pharma course.
