Vaidik Shikshan Prashikshan Mahavidyalay, Behror, was set up in 2008 and is situated in the villages of Milakpur in Behror tehsil of Alwar district of Rajasthan. This co-educational institution is recognized from the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE curriculum and quality standards of teacher education. Located in a 0.625 acre area, the college at present has a student strength of 179 and a teaching staff of 16 members. The institute provides only one course, the teaching, and training of teachers across the country to meet the challenges of the future.

Vaidik Shikshan Prashikshan Mahavidyalay, Behror, currently offers one full-time course: This is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. This 2 year degree course has an approved admission capacity of 100 students as the institute tries to ensure that quality education is provided with reasonable number of students in classroom. The B.Ed program is intended to prepare the future teacher for further productive activities in the sphere of education. This concentrated program also strengthens the college since its efforts are directed to training well qualified educators.

Vaidik Shikshan Prashikshan Mahavidyalay follows the Pre- Teacher Education Test (PTET) examination for admission to the B. Ed course. This is a state-level examination and thus advertised in the leading newspaperss, and applications are presented online. The PTET is conducted at various centres in Rajasthan so that the aspiring candidates can write the exam easily. After the results are out, everyone who passes and wishes to apply for admission has to complete an online admission form as well.
