Vaigai College of Engineering, established in 2012, is an affiliated college situated in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Being an AICTE recognised institution, it facilities various engineering programmes across a vast area of 15 acre. VCE has a student intake of 420 students and a faculty of 80 employees and this makes the institute enable students to learn effectively for them to become good engineers. The college also provides five full time B.E degree courses with a span of 4 years each. To cater for the health necessities of students VCE has and operational health facility with first aid provisions. Similar to the buildings used for classes, sports also have paramount importance in the college with all the necessary infrastructures where the college provides coaching in cricket, kho-kho, shuttle and many more indoor games. An airy and clean canteen provides clean South Indian vegetarian food. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls, well furnished with 24 hours water facility and filtered water supplied frequently.

Vaigai College of Engineering teaches five full time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) courses. These programmes are specialsed for one or the other engineering disciplines and offer students a technical education. The college has an overall approved intake of 300 students and each course has an option to take 60 students. They also minimise congestion and imbalance in fees to accomplish a fair distribution of services for each specialisation. The courses are BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and so on.
