Vaishno Devi Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, established in 2007 is an affiliated college in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The campus of the institute is spread over a 4 acre area and is affiliated by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has 1,151 total students and a faculty of 41 with 10 courses across 6 degree programmes. This institute specialises in education, arts, and computer applications and provides varied study choices such as B.Ed, D.El.Ed, MA in various subjects, and PGDCA. Being an affiliated college, this focuses only on quality education of teacher training as well as other disciplines.

Ed have been the core programmes within the institute, with approved intakes of 100 students in each. Apart from this, undergraduate programmes like BA and B.Sc are also provided by the college.

In addition to this, for postgraduation, the institution allows candidates to apply for MA in subjects such as sociology, Sanskrit, Hindi, Geography, and Pedagogy. Furthermore, the institute has also offered one-year PGDCA courses to the candidates within computer applications.

The Admission procedure of Vaishno Devi Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya is different in every course. For entry into the B.Ed programme, the admission process is managed on merit. will have to undergo merit process following the marks gained in the prescribed qualifying examination or entrance examination conducted. The admission is taken according to the policies of the government of that specific state/union territory and that particular affiliated university.
