Vallabh Government College, Mandi, is a prestigious college in Himachal Pradesh, India, and is affiliated to the NAAC. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.A., B.Sc., B.Com: For admission to these undergraduate programs, merit obtained in the previous qualifying examination (10+2) is the sole criterion. These degrees offer multiple subject combinations.
BCA Self-Finance: Admission was based on a written entrance test which contained 100 questions for a total of 100 marks in 1.5 hours. The test consisted of Mathematics (40%), Logical Ability (40%), and English and General Awareness (20%). The final selection is based on merit, fulfilling the eligibility conditions provided by H.P. University. The program has an approved intake of 60 students.
B.B.A. Self Finance: The admission process is similar to that of BCA: a written entrance test of the same pattern and duration. The program has an approved intake of 60 students.
B.Ed Self Finance: An applicant must choose teaching subjects at the time of admission. The program has an approved intake of 100 students.
B.Voc (Retail Management and Hospitality & Tourism): Admissions are purely based on merit in the qualifying examination (+2).
PGDCA Self Finance: Admission is entirely through a competitive written entrance test. The final selection will be made on the basis of merit subject to the minimum eligibility conditions laid down by H.P. University. The program has a sanctioned intake of 60 students.
Admission to the postgraduate programs is based mostly on merit, except as noted. Admission to M.Com. MA(English, Economics, Hindi, Political Science), and M.Sc Mathematics.
