Vardhman Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya college based at Sikar, Rajasthan and was established in the year 2000 Gokulpura is an affiliated college. This is a co-educational institution that is acknowledged by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to demonstrate intention for providing quality teacher education. Located on a 3.5 acre land, the college provides two unique programmes in education with total enrolment capacity of 189 students. The institute still has enough and qualified faculty strength with 16 faculties to teach the aspiring educators maintaining a very important and relatively low student to faculty ratio. The college is well known for teacher training and offers B. Ed and D.El.Ed courses to several students respectively who aspire to build the future of students.

Vardhman Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya has all and sundry facilities which are intended to facilitate the learning process of the children. A college library is part of the institution that plays the central client and supply role of providing information to the future teachers. Modern equipped laboratories provide practical experience, which gives an addition to the existing theoretical knowledge. An auditorium caters for events and seminars hence encouraging active learning environment. This part mostly covers the aspect of comprehensive development and for this reason the institution provides sports facilities for all students. In terms of IT, the college boasts of first-rate infrastructure to suit its need of meeting modern education. Special accommodation is offered even to visiting faculty as well as waiting areas for the students’ families. Design of classrooms must foster learning plus socialisation, which are critical to train teachers.

There are two full time course in Vardhman Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya and both the courses are very essential in the teaching field. There are 100 sanctioned seats in the B.Ed course and the D.El.Ed programme has an intake capacity of fifty. These programmes are intended to prepare students for teaching profession by passing knowledge and skills needed. The total number of students who are admitted in both courses is 189 which prove that institution’s management concentrates more on quality admission to ensure quality education is offered. 

Vardhman Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya offers admission through merit basis, students’ performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination are taken in to consideration. Admission in self financing colleges like this college is governed by the regulations made by the state government of Rajasthan and the university it is affiliated with. In regard to the B.Ed programme, All the admissions are being done on merit which means admission through marks scored in exams, entrance tests, or other methods prescribed by the state and University. In the same manner, admission to the D.El.Ed programme is carried out according to merit, and the qualifying examination marks and /or entrance test result following the guidelines of the state government or UT administration.
