An arts and commerce college for boys and girls, Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan Guruvarya Sadanand Maharaj Arts and Commerce College, Kondhwa, Pune was established in 2008 in Maharashtra. NAAC-accredited affiliated college provides two undergraduate-level courses in Arts and Commerce streams. The college is located in a small plot of 0.4 acres of land at present; it has 554 students’ enrolled for the programme and 8 faculty members. This is well evidenced by the variety of the courses offered and the well-equipped facilities that characterise this institution. The college claims to have various facilities that will complement learning and personal and social growth of learners. 

A well-equipped library is a centre for information and knowledge and is a key component needed in the facilitation of student’s academic resources. It also has department-based laboratories so that practical aspects are also well taught to the students. Being in the modern generation, the college has done well to develop very efficient Formation IT resources. For athletic purposes, the campus contains sports fields and a gym in consideration of the health of students. A first-aid health centre is also present to attend to injuries or accidents that may occur in the course of the conference. It also has an auditorium for occasions such as seminars and meetings, among others, thus a lively college atmosphere. A canteen has the essence of meeting the organisations and student’s food requirements in that it offers social and eating points for the workers and learners. 

Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan Guruvarya Sadanand Maharaj Arts and Commerce College offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: University bachelor degree programmes include the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and two Postgraduate programmes, in total 4 courses. Each of them takes three years; hence, students get a profound knowledge of the chosen subject areas.
