About VSI Pune
VSI or Vasantdada Sugar Institute Pune is one of the leading institutes in Maharashtra. Established in 1975, the institute was formerly known as Deccan Sugar Institute. VSI is recognised as a Centre for Research by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. VSI is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
VSI Pune offers postgraduate and PG Diploma programmes in science and technology. The programmes offered at VSI Pune are M.Sc Environmental Sciences, M.Sc Wine Brewing and Alcohol Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Instrumentation Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Engineering and various other certifications courses. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must apply for VSI admissions. The institute grants admission to MSc courses on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam and interview.
