Vasantrao Naik Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya: Affiliated college established in the year 2003, geared towards core education of teachers. It is located in the city of Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The campus area is about 14.7 acres. NAAC accredited and approved by the NCTE, quality is focused for its times. There are 100 students, and the faculty strength remains at 10. The college provides the focused learning experience to the students. 

Vasantrao Naik Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya has designed varied facilities that aid the learning experiences of students. There are 3,928 textbooks, 75 reference books, and 16 educational and other journals in the well-stocked library to plunge into academics. Specialized laboratories include Science Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, and an Education Technology and Media Laboratory, ensuring that a lot of learning is practically done. Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya offers one course - the B.Ed programme. It's a full-time two-year course with an approved intake of 100 students. B.Ed programme equips future lecturers with knowledge and skills through which they can inculcate efficient classroom instruction and educational leadership. The course fee is around INR 64,106, so very accessible to many aspirants who wish to become a lecturer one day. The college takes an even number of students every year and the total number of students equals intake capacity, which is 100. 

Admission to Vasantrao Naik Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya is strictly merit-based. This depends solely upon marks received in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
