PEC is an affiliated college that was founded in 2005 at Madagadipet, Pondicherry and is named as Vasavi College of Education. This co-educational institution is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a recognition that make it competent to provide quality education in teaching profession. Located on a small 2.97 acres land, the college provides three programmes in education field. These programs are able to serve all levels of education from certification to initial teaching qualifications.
