PEC is an affiliated college that was founded in 2005 at Madagadipet, Pondicherry and is named as Vasavi College of Education. This co-educational institution is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), a recognition that make it competent to provide quality education in teaching profession. Located on a small 2.97 acres land, the college provides three programmes in education field. Thus, Vasavi College of Education is providing a student intake capacity of 171 student with a faculty of 22 teachers. Vasavi College of Education in its present form offers a total of three full time courses which imparts education related to teaching profession.
