About Vedant College of Engineering and Technology, Bundi

Vedant College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), was set up in the year 2008 as an affiliated college in Bundi, Rajasthan. VCET is expanding over an area of 10 acres and it has engineering courses at the UG, PG and diploma Stream. For now, we can briefly note that the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, and the focus is made on delivering the high quality of technical education. VCET presently has an total student turnover of 439 and a faculty of 2 and therefore the college strives to provide an conducive atmosphere for engineering students.


VCET also has progressive facilities to meet the students with all their needs which may include academic and personal aspects. The college’s library is rich and holds a collection of over 10,000 volumes in various field of engineering and patronized national & international journals. Thus, it is also connected through DELNET which provides access to various numbers of resources. The campus contains brightly-equipped laboratories for the practical lessons for all departments. Accommodation The institution has hostels for boys and girls respectively in order to enhance students comfort while in school with modern facilities. The college also features a health center equipped with first aid facility for the protection of student’s health.


There are eleven courses in total – three levels of degrees; B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma. The B.Tech courses include Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. At the postgraduate level VCET offers M.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering and in Power Systems. Besides, the college offers diploma courses in civil engineering, Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering as well. The approved intake for these courses also differs; the B.Tech course offers a total of 30- 60 students per program; the M.Tech program has a capacity of 9-18 students per program; the diploma course has an intake of 30- 120 students.

Almost all the aspiring students are offered admission since VCET consider the 10+2 results and expect the candidates to have obtained not less than 45 percent marks. For B.Tech programs also, the test scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) are considered as well. The admission procedure is accomplished under the supervision of the Centralized Admission Committee with the cooperation of the institute. The admission form must be completed by prospective students and the fees to be paid must also be paid before the deadline. VCET also offers transportation facilities for day scholars coming from Kota and Bundi for their admission to this campus. The college has a Training and Placement Cell, which is actively engaged in the development of the students for their professional careers and it has also very good record of placement of its student in various fields. Appropriate infrastructures and course structures, the college has able offered itself a platform to molded the required engineers to face all these challenges.
