Vedic Co-Ed PG College, Jaipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Vedic Co-Ed PG College was started in 1995 and is an affiliated college in Jaipur in Rajasthan. Camped on a small piece of land of 0.755 acre, the college possesses multi-faceted ranges of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. Vedic Co-Ed PG College for boys and girls has a total number of 246 students and 17 faculties members which make the ambiance intellectual oriented. At present the institute has 17 courses in total in 5 degree programs offered that include arts, science, commerce and home science. As much as it might not be accredited or ranked appropriately, the college prevails as an educational center in the particular area.

The college has a host of amenities that seeks to support the education process and the growth for the students. A good library provides information to the students irrespective of their course of study. The institution has well enhanced on good Information Technology where the students need to use in their academic activities. A hall on campus is used for events, seminars, etc making the campus atmosphere intellectually active. Learning under special programmes includes detail departmental laboratories that are more beneficial to students especially those in the field of science. The college has facilities to support and encourage physical health of students as well through games. First aid services are provided in a health center in case of any injuries or even slight illnesses. Also, the college has established strong alumni relations that connect current learners with graduates to ensure continue interaction.

Vedic Co-Ed PG College except the colleges of Advanced Studies, offers 17 courses in total comprised of undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. The undergraduate component includes regular full time programs in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Home Science offering courses for the B.A. B.Sc, B. Com and B.Sc Home Science. At post graduate level MA is offered in Music, Drawing & Painting, Geography, Political Science, Public Administration, and Sociology and M.Sc in chemistry, Botany, Zoology Geography & Home Science. Overall, 246 students across the college and in all courses have been approved for intake.

Vedic Co-Ed PG College follows government rules and regulation for admission process acting mostly on merit system. The college operates an open admission system and prepares separate merit list for each course. As for certain examinations, their dates are not given, however, any aspirant has to refer to the college’s website or contact the admission office to know all the necessary information regarding the admission and the dates. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to its students and each course offered has it’s own entrance requirements. Specific to individual scholarship programmes or famous alumni, there is no information currently with us. However, strong response of college in offering quality of education in multidisciplinary subjects make this college sizable for students who are seeking higher education degree in Jaipur.
