Vedica College of B Pharmacy is situated at Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 2006 and has emerged as one of the key institutions that facilitate B Pharmacy across the state. Situated at Gandhi Nagar, Airport By-Pass Road, this constituent college has made a great place for pharmacy courses. Being PCI and AICTE-accredited institution, Vedica College provides the curriculum comprising a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacy fields. It operates in a small physical facility consisting of a 0.5-acre area of land to promote close interaction between students and the institute. There is a team of 28 well-qualified faculty members that make it possible that the college maintains a reasonable faculty ratio in order to promote proper student satisfaction and learning.

Today, it has become the policy of the college to ensure its students achieve a well-rounded education through its highly equipped faculties. It is equipped with a modern rare and stocky library with enormous flows of books, magazines, scientific journals, and other materials required for pharmaceutical learning. This is in regard to information technology, which the college facilities to avail the latest in technologies to today’s learners. For the extracurricular activities and functions, the college has an ultramodern auditorium with ample space. Sports facilities indoors and outdoors are also available on campus, like table tennis, volleyball, cricket, carom, and chess, which play a vital role in making a balanced professor and sportsperson. 

It said that the college cafeteria provides different kinds of food, but at the same time it is healthy for people. In light with this concern, outstation students, especially boys and girls, have private hostel accommodations for learning and development in Vedica College. Safety and health-wise, on-campus is equally facilitated with a dispensary sometimes branded as emergency first aid box. The college also provides adequate transport services in relation to different parts of the city for easier transport for both students and staff.

The college offers a total of 6 courses in B Pharmacy, comprising of 3 degrees, For Undergraduate and Postgraduate level students. The college’s premier course is the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course the college offers, which boasts of an admission capacity of 60 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers four M.Pharma programmes, each of 2 years of duration, but with different specialisations. These are M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics (36 seats), M.Pharma in Pharmacology (24 seats), M.Pharma in Pharmacognosy (18 seats) and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics Drug Regulatory Affairs (18 seats). All courses are available in full-time mode only so that there is lots of concentration in the session. The various specialties available to the candidate at postgraduate level enable the candidate to build on a particular area of interest within the pharmaceutical sciences.

Vedica College of B Pharmacy follows a comprehensive, systematic admission process which is totally merit-based. As far as the entrance examination detail is concerned, it is not mentioned; however, it could be conceived that academic performance of the candidates, including the subjects relevant to the course and maybe the state or national level pharma get examination. Thus, the college develops diversity; it enrols both the in-state and the  out-of-stat students. About 30 percent of the total strength of the students belongs to other states other than Madhya Pradesh, which forms a good diverse mixture.
