One of the pioneering technical institutions in Gujarat, India, is Vedvyas Polytechnic, Himmatnagar, established in 1999. This co-educational institute is situated opposite Sabar Dairy on National Highway-8 in Hajipur, Himmatnagar. It has a huge campus of 16 acres. Approved by AICTE, Vedvyas Polytechnic imparts various diploma programs in engineering disciplines. With a faculty strength of 33 dedicated professionals and a total student enrollment of 30, the institute provides an environment of focused learning. Five full-time diploma courses with sanctioned intake are available in the Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology specializations; each course is spread over a period of three years.

Kinds of facilities provided in the institute enhance the educational experience of its students. Vedvyas Polytechnic runs a total of five diploma courses, and all of them are full-time programs. The various courses provide adequate coverage to major disciplines of engineering and render the students with core understanding of the respective discipline. The institute has a total approved enrolment of 270 seats in all its courses. Those seats are distributed as follows: 60 for a Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering, 60 for a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, 60 for a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, 60 for a Diploma in Civil Engineering, and 30 for a Diploma in Information Technology.
