The Vellalar College of Education for Women, Erode is one of the new generation educational institutions which are committed to transforming women teachers of the society. Affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore this college is situated in the heart of the city Maruthi Nagar, Thindal, Erode, Tamil Nadu and approved by the NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education. Situated in a 10-acres area, the college provides the conducive environment for students who desire to be teachers.

These are intended to provide students with knowledge and skills that enable him or her to practice education effectively.
