About LAW Jaipur

VGU School of Law or LAW Jaipur is one of the constituent college established in 2017. This college is in Jaipur Rajasthan, it offers education in law and is affiliated to BCI, Bar Council of India. Some of the programs taught in the school are the law undergraduate, post graduate, masters and doctorate. The school of law has 15 members of faculty and specialization of the school offers its students an intimate and intensive learning environment. The institution provides five distinct unique courses, including different fields of law to address different career callee in the field of law.


Accomodations: VGU School of Law has developed facilities on campus that are conducive to total student development. The Learning Resource Center LRC is the focal point of academic media with over 3000 books and 1500 e-books, as well as, over 200 e-journal subscriptions. In particular, this working can be accessed by students up to 8 p.m., which means that there will be enough time for research and study. The college is followed by different hostels for boys and girls, which provide good ventilated room and necessary amenities. The boys’ hostel has the capacity for taking 1200 students while the girls’ hostel has the capacity of taking only 350 students. While taking academic conversations and commencement of programs, the college provides more than ten seminar rooms and a modern Daycone hall for audiences of over 550. Cricket, Hockey & Football fields Other play areas: Volleyball, Basketball & Badminton. The campus has wireless access to the internet enabling achievement of academic activities.


DU’s School of Legislation is five courses general and all its courses are full-time. These include three undergraduate courses: Three programs which Durban University of Technology offer are LLB, LLB integrated and BBA LLB integrated. For postgraduate studies, the college offer LLM program which take 2 years then there is a Ph.D. in Law which will take 6 years for those who wish to do much more research studies. The total approved intake for the undergraduate courses is 180 students each year; 60 each for LLB, BA LLB Integrated, and BBA LLB Integrated programs. The enrolment capacities within the LLM and PhD programs are not mentioned.

Admission process in LLM is quite simple :-

  • Admission in general is based on entrance examination so you need to first fulfill its eligibility criteria
  • Then appear in the entrance examination
  • qualify the entrance examination

To give you a gist CLAT PG eligibility criteria is provided below which is the most widely accepted entrance examination for LLM

* qualification required - you must have a graduate degree in law i. e 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB  from an university which is recognised by the Bar Council of India. Also those who are in the final year of their LLB are  eligible

*You must get at least 55% marks in your llb. For SC/ ST categories at least 45% marks required in LLB

* There's no upper age limit in order to be eligible for CLAT LLM
