This co-educational institute focuses on teacher education and has courses of B.Ed and M.Ed to cater for the need. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, the college functions from two acres of land. The institute has 48 students and 24 faculty members to ensure qualification of student-teacher ratio perfectly. With two full-time degree programs, the College provides education for one’s passion in teaching for the baccalaureate and master’s degree.

Today the college has number of facilities that are meant enhance learning of students in the college. As for the organizational office the well equipped library is useful source of information as well as the auditorium for holding meetings seminars etc. For sports and recreation the college provides students with facility of sport complexes for them. The institution employs the use of Information Technology in its education process, yet it has Information Technology facilities and a computer laboratory enriched with modern systems and tutors. The college boasts of having five well-equipped laboratories to facilitate practical sessions and become institute of scientific temperament of students. Both boys and girls can avail of hostel facilities, thus every student from out of town has got opportunity to live comfortably in the hostel. Other facilities and services for health education include; A health center with first aid facilities, canteen for provision of refreshments, and modern classroom enhances the learning provision.

VH Marad M.Ed. College and Rural B.Ed. College combines a total of two full time courses in education. The B.Ed. offers intake capacity of 100 students and the M.Ed. program proposes to admit 35 students. Both are professional programs that take two years to fulfill a different degree requirement. One of them is tied to the college’s specialization in teacher education: all the presented courses are designed to help students find a well-paid job in the sphere of education.
