VIBGYOR Institute of Management and Information Technology, Imphal (VIMIT), was established in 2019. This affiliated college is situated in Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai, Airport Road, Imphal West, Manipur and offers standard education prospects for the students who interested in Management and Information Technology field. It is located in a plot of 2 acres of area hence best suited for providing excellent education to its students. VIMIT has 45 students and 10 teachers so students to teacher ratio is good which affords each student individual attention and directions. The institute has four programmes to cover all the career prospects in the business and commerce, and the computer application.

This shows that VIMIT’s established facilities aim to deliver a holistic learning platform, holistic learning solutions. The institute has one of the best libraries which make up the central reference source of all the students and members of the institute. For the student who has interest in sports and other sporting activities, the college provides sporting facilities which enhances exercise for the sporting persons as they also study. A hall on campus is used to host various functions, seminars, levies and cultural activities leading to an active student and university life. 

The institute also has different department based laboratory so that practical knowledge is also provided to each and every student. The faculty of VIMIT offers excellent IT facilities for techniques in teaching along with making the students aware of upcoming technologies. Further, campus dining serves delicious meals for students’ and staff’s nutritional requirement as well as health facilities in the college through a health centre equipped with first aid services. Also, VIMIT offers hostel facilities for boys and girls for out station students to have comfortable and secure accommodation facility.

In management, the particular programme selection for academics deliverance at VIMIT aims at satisfying individual needs of the aspiring professionals. The institute  offers four full-time undergraduate programmes: These are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce  and Diploma in Computer Applications. These courses are planned to equip the students with adequate knowledge in the respective areas of specialisation as a preparation for productivity in their chosen careers or for more academic ambition. The total student intake at VIMIT is 45, this shows that the institution is tailored for offering quality education to the needy learners in small groups. Due to this, the number of learners that are taken in a given year is limited so that better resource utilisation is witnessed per learner.
