Vickram College of Engineering, Enathi: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

Vickram College of Engineering (VCE) was set up in 2001 and is a leading educational group situated in Enathi, Tamil Nadu. Located on a large 40-acre campus, VCE provides several engineering courses for those wishing to follow such a career. It is accredited to Anna University, and it is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which clearly indicates the college’s aim for delivering quality education. Currently VCE enrols 229 students distributed in five undergraduate programmes and therefore offers a conducive learning environment. The institute awards its students a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) across five specialisations to help engineering students have a wide choice to make.

By this, VCE owns a number of facilities that provide for the need to improve on the learning process of its students. The college has well-furnished male and female hostels within its premises for the convenience and security of its students. Every hostel has all facilities and amenities: sports and games facilities, reading rooms and libraries, and gymnasiums. The college bows to the health and needs of its students, which is why there is a college health centre complete with first aid. There is a special interest in games and sports in VCE, having separate area for outdoor games like cricket, football, and volleyball and indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom etc. The presence and characteristics of academic infrastructure are also equally high in the Vickram College of Engineering. 

The college library, considered a great knowledge tool, contains more than 25,000 books in 12,000 titles. It is fully computerised with 12 computers for academics and browsing. VCE has significant focus on the practical nature of learning, as is evident through VCE’s well-developed laboratories as well as workshops. Communication technology infrastructure is well developed; the college has a broadband internet connection at the rate of 24 Mbps and wireless connectivity all over the college. The computer centre boasts over 400 modern computer systems that the students use for their technical endeavours.

Vickram College of Engineering at present has five full-time BE programmes, each of four years' duration. These programmes are as follows: Computer Science and Engineering; Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Electronics and Communication Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; and Civil Engineering. According to the 2007 government funding guidelines for the Faculty of Education, the following are the total approved intakes for these courses; each course has a total of 60 seats, hence the annual student intake in all courses will be three hundred overall. 

Thus, while considering the admission policy in Vickram College of Engineering, the college aims to have a fair and transparent admission policy. However, it is imperative to note that the details regarding the admission process for the separate course are missing; nevertheless, most of the engineering colleges within Tamil Nadu admit students based on the ‘Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test’ or ‘All India Engineering Entrance Examination’ along with the marks in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
