Vidarbha College of Arts Commerce and Science Jiwati established in the year 2001 is an affiliated college situated in Chandrapur (Maharashtra). The institute is located in a built-up area of 3 acres and offers two undergraduate programmes and a total strength of 294 students. It was affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and it strives for excellence in education in arts and science. The faculty strength is 5 and therefore the institute has been able to train and specialise in certain courses in BA and B.Sc programmes.

Vidarbha College of Arts Commerce and Science has a variety of infrastructures to facilitate the learning and development of the students. The library has a mandate to acquire resources and meet the needs of students with the assistance of a committed committee. Science students have the added advantage of well-equipped laboratories for chemical, Botany and Zoology. Although few in number the college has been able to sustain a good record in sports with students participating in intra-collegiate, and university competitions. An auditorium is used for different occasions and meetings and enhances students’ activity on the campus. Another area of focus is the integration of information technology with the college’s IT facilities; this has been done through the provision of an E-learning centre stocked with computers, internet connectivity and printing services free of charge to students and faculty members. 

Vidarbha College of Arts, Commerce and Science offers two full-time courses: a BA programme and a B.Sc programme. Each programme is permitted to admit 120 students and hence provides 240 training places for the chosen courses. These three-year bachelor's degree programmes are usually offered with the dual aim of equipping the students with adequate knowledge in their chosen disciplines to enable him/her further his/her studies and/or get a job.

The admission process too at Vidarbha College of Arts, Commerce and Science remains fairly simple.
