Vidhya Sagar Women College of Education was established in 1997 at Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu is a premier women’s college to prepare women teachers for the future. This women college was set up in 2005 and has been producing competent teachers with an intention to transform the industry for almost two decades. It is acollege set up on about 20 acres piece of land, which provides conducive environment for learning.

For extracurricular activities the college has the provision of the sports facilities which include throw ball, kho-kho and tennikoit. The girls’ hostel inside the campus is comfortable and safe, said with several rooms, dining halls, as well as round-the-clock security.

Vidhya Sagar Women’s College of Education aims at offering quality education in teacher education. It conducts a full time B.Ed programme for the academic year 2014-15 with an approved intake of 100 students.
