Vidhyadeep Institute of Social Works is one of the constituent colleges established in Surat of Gujarat and focusing on social work education. Located at Anita Kim-Olpad Highway, Surat, the institute has a unique MSW programme for students who want to carve out a future for change in society. 

Vidhyadeep Institute of Social Works has provided various facilities to facilitate student learning and other related activities. The library plays the important role of a source of the varied literature and research information available to the students in the area of study in social work and allied disciplines. In matters concerning physical health and recreation, sporting amenities are provided to students. The college also provides an auditorium where events, seminars, and our academic occasions take place. In line with practical learning the institute contains departmental based laboratories. 

At present, Vidhyadeep Institute of Social Works has only one full-time post graduate programme named Master of Social Work (MSW). As a two-year programme, this course is aimed to prepare the students to perform the tasks of a social worker. It is understood that the program might touch upon practice fields such as community practice, counseling, social policy, and research.
