Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College | VBP College is one of the oldest technical colleges in the province of Rajasthan, India; was founded in 1956. This affiliated college recognized by the All India Council for Technical Engineering Education (AICTE) has career oriented engineering entity for the last more than six decades. Located at Badgaon Road opposite to Syphon Chauraha, Rayalaseema Institute of Engineering And Technology provides numerous diploma courses inevery branch of engineering. The college has a pool of 41 committed faculty members that enable the college to offer quality technical education to students from all.parts of society.

Among the facilities that are available to foster the learning of students in the college there is a variety of them. A number of laboratories and workshops are available and have adequate learning resources suited for practical learning, which is essential for those technical specializations. The library is a wealth of knowledge which contains a collection of approximately 20000 books covering engineering, technology and allied disciplines. It also has a reading room equipped with current journals, periodicals, and magazines as well as photocopier, TV and video. To meet the needs of students the college has facilities to accommodate only boys as well as girls separately, where mod and comfort is maintained to support the academic session. These include; Toa Payoh Hall, Joyous Community Club, The Sprint Hub, Yip Jew & Co Building, NTUC Income and The Rocks Brewing Company Features-It has color televisions and indoor games. There is a big playground available for sports freaks The play area for athletics and outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, basketballs are also available. The college also has indoor games facilities which includes table tennis, carrom and badminton court. To meet students’ dietary needs there are facilities of the on-campus canteen and tiffin services. This college really values students and makes them ensure they are healthy by being offered group medical insurance of up to Rs. 100,000 for each student.

Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College provides a total of six diploma programs in its college all of which are campus based programs. These are; Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Computer Science Engineering Information Technology and a Post Diploma in Polymer Science and Rubber Technology. The diploma programs are normally a three-year tenure while the post-diploma program is a two year course. The college currently has an approved student intake of 280 in all the courses offered the college showing the institution’s lay down feelings of offering quality education to many aspiring technicians and engineers.
