Vidyant Hindu PG College,is one of the foremost colleges under the aegis of the University of Lucknow, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the faculties of arts and commerce. Admission to all the courses offered by the college is happen through the very clear and straightforward admission process based on the regulations set by the parent university. The selection will be based on merit in qualifying examination. Attainment of 10+2 education from any recognized board is mandatory for merit-based admission into all the UG programs. For a PG program, the candidates should carry with them a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject. Whereas eligibility can be program specific, they are generally defined by Lucknow University.

Admission Process

1. Announcement for Admission: An advertisement by the College for admissions through their website and local print media.

2. Application Form: The prospectus and the application form can usually be obtained from the college campus or downloaded from the official website.

3. Submission: Filled application forms along with other necessary documents must be submitted to the college before the submission deadline.

4. Document Verification: Verified documents are undertaken for mark sheets, certificates, and any other prescribed documents.

5. Merit List: A merit list is prepared and published by the college for different programs based on the academic performance of students in qualifying exams.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Students shortlisted will be called for counseling, and suitable seats will be allotted to them according to merit and availability.

7. Fee Payment: The selected students are expected to deposit the required fees to confirm their admission.

Admission Process by Degree

BA: The Bachelor of Arts program provides 670 seats. Admission to the program will be completely based on the performance of candidates in their 10+2 exams. Rs 15,000 has been set as the total fee for the BA program.

B.Com: Two B.Com programs are there.

1. Regular B.Com: This program has 320 seats and total fee of Rs 15,000.
2. B.Com Self Finance: This program has 60 seats and the fee is Rs 54,000. 
3. Both programs admission is expected according to the merit result of the 10+2 examination, which will be predominant since it also includes a considerable amount of commerce or related subjects in it.

MA History (Self-Financed): Seventy students will be admitted in this postgraduate program, which will cost Rs 20,000. A bachelor's degree in History or any related subjects will qualify the candidate.

M.Com (Self Finance): There will be 60 seats in the M.Com program and the total fee would be Rs 48,000. Most of the admissions are based on performance in B.Com or equivalent.
