Vidyasagar College of Education, Gangarampur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Vidyasagar College of Education, Gangarampur, was established in the year 2015 as an affiliated college in Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. This co-educational institution is approved by NCTE for conducting courses related to the teaching field. The compact area comprising the campus covers 1 acre, with a student enrolment of 166 and a faculty strength of 18 members. 

The institution has a wide range of facilities to help enrich the learning experiences of students. Library works as a knowledge center by providing relevant study materials to aid in the academic pursuit of the students. There is also a fully computerized computer lab set up to equip students with the required technological skills. The beautiful playground is available for the physical well-being of students. Other facilities include a guest house, a health center with first-aid facilities, and a canteen serving refreshments on nominal rates. Vidyasagar College of Education is under strenuous efforts to expand its residential facilities. Two hostels, one for men and one for women, are available with a minimum capacity to house 75% of the intake capacity.

Currently, Vidyasagar College of Education offers one major course: Bachelor of Education. It is a two-year full-time course. The program is designed to meet growing demand from eligible teachers.

The admission process to Vidyasagar College of Education is merit-based, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institute follows the admission policies framed by the state government of West Bengal and the affiliated university. At the undergraduate level of B.Ed., candidates are selected based on academic performance and their scores in relevant entrance exams.
