Vidyasagar Kala Mahavidyalaya, an affiliated college, was started in the year of 1999 in Khairi (Bijewada), Ramtek, Nagpur Maharashtra. NAAC, which shows its concern for offering quality education, has accredited this arts college. Stretched over an area of 3.5 acres land, the college is offering the education to 292 students and is staffed with 6 faculty members. The faculty provides only one course, the Bachelor of Arts (BA), for students who choose humanities and social sciences streams . 

Another plan, which Vidyasagar Kala Mahavidyalaya has in place, is the facility related to the range of student development. Central to these is a well equipped and computerised library with 2000 books, different Marathi Hindi and English periodicals, journals and newspapers. It has INFLIBNET Software and linked to a Knowledge Resource Centre with the facility of ten computers with Wi-Fi facility to help students to access many computerised sources. For the sports lover this college offer playing and management facilities for volleyball, ball badminton, kabaddi, kho-kho etc.so also indoor games like chess and carrom. This helps the students to be part of university and state tournaments with the institution providing special considerations together with gifts to the students whom the college partakes in the tournaments. The institution provides facilities like staff and students’ canteen to add value to the campus environment.

There is only one course in Vidyasagar Kala Mahavidyalaya, a full-time Bachelor of Arts or BA programme. This is a three-year programme that is meant to enable students achieve a wide field of knowledge in the areas of arts and humanities. The total student intake is a small figure 292, which may indicate that class size could also be small and faculty is in a position to give personal attention.
