Vidyavana First Grade College is a relatively new college started in the year 2017 in Bengaluru, which is working towards shaping the youth. Located in Koraluru, Thirumalashettyhalli Cross, Nadavatti Post in Hosakote Taluk of Bangalore Rural district, in Karnataka, this affiliated college has gained importance in the recent years among the colleges in this region. At present, Vidyavana is hosting 96 learners and it provides a small scale learning institution where learners and faculties have ample opportunity to interact.

Vidyavana First Grade College boasts of offering various services the purpose of which is to improve the learning process of the learners. Underpinning all its academic offerings are a library that is well stocked to support students’ and faculty’s research needs. This also complements learning with the college having departmental laboratories which are important for practical learning. For learners with interest in technology, management at Vidyavana has put much effort on excellent information technology so that students will have updated knowledge on IT. Besides academic activities, the institution takes into consideration the need for the students to be developed in all round aspect. The college therefore provides sporting amenities for physical exercise and group activities. Auditorium of the college is used as a place to host events, seminars, cultural programmes and acting as student’s congregation area.

With regard to the courses, Vidyavana First Grade College is still in the process of expanding its programmes and is specialised in offering commerce education. The college has a full-time three year B.Com programme. As a full-fledged degree programme, tuition fees are charged accordingly. The purpose of this programme is to introduce students to practical business skills and knowledge of financial systems as a prerequisite to a broad variety of careers in the business industry.
