Vidyawati College of Nursing, Mahendergarh, was established in the year 2004. The institution has emerged as one of the forerunners in imparting quality nursing education in the state of Haryana, India. This exclusively girls' college is located near Satnali Chowk and comes under the affiliated institutions with the Indian Nursing Council's approval. It imparts various programs in nursing, having a total student enrolment of 299, which itself speaks of its commitment towards developing skilled healthcare professionals. 

The college has well-established, fully equipped modern facilities to enhance the students' learning. At the center of these facilities is a well-stocked library and a learning resource center with a long list of textbooks, reference books, and professional journals. This is a vibrant space, comfortable and friendly to readers, to enable learning and foster scholarship. In support of practical training, the College maintains department-based laboratories to ensure students acquire hands-on experience that forms the basis for their later career practice. It is also composed of well-spaced, air-conditioned classrooms and state of the art IT infrastructure with 20 computers for hands-on training and practice for the application of computer skills in the field of Nursing.

Currently, Vidyawati College of Nursing imparts two prime courses, Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, having 50 seats, and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with 40 seats. The former course is spread over two years and is also a full-time program. These courses have the goal of orienting students toward a very promising future in the field of nursing. These types of special programs help the college focus on providing an in-depth education to nursing students who, ultimately, turn out to be very proficient and ready to face any kind of challenge related to the healthcare sector.
