Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc Computer Science Hons: The sanctioned intake of this programme is 200 students. Merit is defined in terms of the marks secured at the qualifying examinations, with due emphasis on Mathematics and Science.

BCA Hons: The Bachelor of Computer Applications (Hons) has sanctioned an intake of 75. Priority is given to candidates for their aptitude in Mathematics and Computer Science in the +2 level.

MBA: The Master in Business Administration programme has an intake of 60 students. This may include scores at the graduation level, results from entrance examinations, and may involve a personal interview.

MCA: The same number of students is admissible for admission in Master of Computer Applications, i.e., 60. Eligibility is generally a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent.

M.Sc Mathematics: This Master admission is designed for an intake of 40. Candidates for this qualification must be holders of a Bachelor in Mathematics or the equivalent in the area of interest.

M.Sc Microbiology: 36 students are admitted into this program, which requires a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or in the relevant subjects of Life Science.

M.Sc Bio-Chemistry: The intake for this course is 36, which targets graduates with expertise in Biochemistry or related areas.

M.Sc Chemistry: This program caters to an intake of 30 masters degree students in Chemistry. Their eligibility will be primarily being a holder of the bachelor's degree in Chemistry.

Admission to B.Sc Microbiology Hons, B.Sc Physics Hons, B.Sc Mathematics Hons, and B.Sc Statistics Hons: Each of these specialized undergraduate programs admits 25 students. Admission is based on the 10+2 scores with a stronghold on the respective subjects.
