About VIIT Visakhapatnam

Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2002 and is a private co-educational institution. The campus is spread over seventeen acres of land. Vignan's Institute of Information Technology is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institute. VIIT Visakhapatnam provides courses exclusively available full-time, and their lengths range from two to four years. The institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA courses.

Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology offers admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate will be done on the basis of the students performance in the national level/state level entrance examinations. Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child	The value of the scholarship is Rs.36,200 p.a for a period of two years only	The scholarship is open for girl students up to the age limit of 30 years. The candidate should be the single girl child of the family. The candidate must have taken admission in the first year of a regular, full-time PG course in any recognised university or a post-graduate college.
AICTE Saksham Scholarship Scheme	Rs 50,000 per annum	This scholarship is for differently-abled students who have a disability of not less than 40%. Candidates must be admitted to diploma/degree courses at an AICTE recognised institution. The annual income of the family should be less than Rs.8 lakhs per annum.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls	Rs 50,000 per annum	This scholarship is for girl candidates who have taken admission to the diploma/degree course at an AICTE-approved institution/college. The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs.8 lakhs. Up to two girls per family can apply for the scholarship.
